Gardaí carried out a co-ordinated day of action as part of Operation Meacán in the Dublin 7 area on Friday, 6th March 2026.
Five electric vehicles, including e-scooters and e-motorcycles, were seized during searches under warrant of a number of properties.
Gardaí from Community Policing and the Divisional Drug Unit at Cabra Garda Station were involved in the day of action.
Quantities of drugs, including suspected cocaine and ketamine, cash and a number of weapons were also recovered.
All drugs seized will be subject to analysis.
A juvenile male, aged in his teens, who was arrested has since been released without charge pending referral to the National Youth Diversion Programme.
The aim of Operation Meacán is to tackle the use of electric vehicles such as e-motorcycles which are being used for criminal activity including drug dealing, money laundering, transporting firearms, Drug Related Intimidation (DRI) and other serious offences.
