As part of an operation targeting an Organised Crime Group in the Dublin region, the Dublin Crime Response Team (DCRT) seized over €188,000 in cash yesterday, Thursday 5th March 2026.
During the course of the searches of residences in the Swords, Co. Dublin area, the cash totalling €188,450, along with a quantity of suspected cocaine, and items of evidential value, were seized.
A man (aged in his 40’s) was arrested in connection with the investigation. He is currently detained pursuant to Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act, 2007, at a Garda station in the Dublin area.
