Update: Arrest - Discovery of Woman’s Body in Co Waterford – 15th June 2026

Gardaí in Waterford continue to investigate all of the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a woman’s body in County Waterford on Monday, 15th June 2026.

A male (aged in his 30's) was arrested today, Tuesday 16th June 2026, in connection with the investigation.

He is currently detained pursuant to Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984, at a Garda Station in the South Eastern Region.

Investigations are ongoing.
