26/06/2026 Witness Appeal – Hit and Run Road Traffic Collision, Five Lamps, North Strand Road, Dublin 1, 20th June 2026

Gardaí attended the scene following report of a hit and run road traffic collision that occurred at the Five Lamps - at the junction of Killarney Street, Amiens Street and North Strand Road, Dublin 1 - on Saturday 20th June 2026.

The collision, involving a pedestrian and a scrambler, occurred at approximately 9.40pm.

The pedestrian, a male youth aged in his early teens, received treatment at Temple Street Children’s Hospital for serious injuries, believed to be non-life-threatening at this time.

The scrambler left the scene.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision to come forward.

Road users with camera footage (including dash-cam) travelling in the area of the Five Lamps / North Strand Road between 9.15pm and 10.15pm on Saturday 20th June 2026 are asked to make it available to investigating Gardaí.
