Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision on the L100 Tullaroan Road, Loughmacask, Kilkenny, Co. Kilkenny on Wednesday 24th June 2026.
The collision involved a car and a cyclist and occurred at approximately 5:30pm.
A male cyclist (aged in his 30s) was conveyed to St. Luke’s General Hospital Carlow Kilkenny for treatment of serious injuries.
The scene was examined by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and the road has since reopened.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision to come forward.
Road users who were travelling on the L100 Tullaroan Road, Kilkenny, Co. Kilkenny between 5:00pm and 6:00pm on Wednesday 24th June 2026 and who may have camera footage (including dash-cam), are asked to make this footage available to Gardaí.
