Gardaí are renewing their appeal for witnesses in relation to a serious assault on Main Street, Portarlington, Co. Laois on Sunday 7th June 2026 at approximately 1:15am.
An adult male (aged in his 60s) was conveyed to Beaumont Hospital for treatment of serious injuries. His condition remains critical.
Gardaí continue to appeal for any witnesses or anyone with information in relation to this incident or who may have video footage (including dash-cam) who were in the area of Main Street, Portarlington, Co. Laois between 12:45am and 1:30am on Sunday 7th June 2026.
