15/06/2026 Witness Appeal - Fatal Road Traffic Collision, Pullagh, Pallasgreen, Co. Limerick, 14th June 2026

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision on the L1135 near Pullagh, Pallasgreen, Co. Limerick on Sunday 14th June 2026.

The collision involved two cars and occurred shortly before 10:00pm.

A male driver and single occupant of a car (aged in his 40s) was pronounced deceased at the scene. His body has been removed to the mortuary at University Hospital Limerick where a post-mortem examination will take place in due course.

The coroner has been notified.

A female driver (aged in her 50s) was conveyed to University Hospital Limerick for treatment of serious injuries.

A female passenger (aged in her teens) was conveyed to University Hospital Limerick for treatment of serious injuries.

A female passenger (aged in her 20s) and a male juvenile passenger (aged in his teens) were conveyed to University Hospital Limerick for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

The road is closed pending technical examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.

Local diversions are in place.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who witnessed this collision to come forward.

Road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling on the L1135 near Pullagh, Pallasgreen, Co. Limerick between 9:30pm and 10:00pm on Sunday 14th June 2026, are asked to make this available to investigating Gardaí.
