Gardaí have seized a firearm and a quantity of controlled drugs following a search of a property in the Corduff area, Blanchardstown, Co. Dublin yesterday Wednesday 10th May 2026.
As part of ongoing investigations targeting the activities of organised criminal groups, members attached to the Serious Crime Unit in Blanchardstown executed a search warrant at a residence in the Corduff area of Blanchardstown.
During the course of the search, Gardaí seized a semi-automatic firearm, approximately €3,198 of suspected cocaine and €18,650 of suspected Diamorphine. Cash to the value of €1,150 was also recovered.
Two men (aged in their 20s and 30s) were arrested and are currently detained at a Garda station in the Blanchardstown area under the provisions of Section 30, Offences Against the State Act 1939/98.
