03/06/2026 Update: Arrests: Witness Appeal - Fatal Assault, Clarendon Street, Dublin 2. 1st June, 2026.

Gardaí in Pearse Street continue to investigate a fatal assault which occurred on Clarendon Street, Dublin 2 in the early hours of Monday 1st June, 2026.

Yesterday, Tuesday 2nd June 2026, a female (aged in her 20’s) was arrested in connection with the investigation.

Today, Wednesday 3rd June 2026, a male (aged in his 20’s) was also arrested in connection with the investigation.

They are currently detained pursuant to Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at a Garda Station in the Dublin area.

Investigations are ongoing.
