03/06/2026 Update (2): Arrests: Witness Appeal - Fatal Assault, Clarendon Street, Dublin 2. 1st June, 2026.

Gardaí in Pearse Street continue to investigate a fatal assault which occurred on Clarendon Street, Dublin 2 in the early hours of Monday 1st June, 2026.

The female (aged in her 20’s) arrested yesterday, Tuesday 2nd June 2026, has been released without charge pending a file to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).

The male (aged in his 20’s) arrested today, Wednesday 3rd June 2026 remains in Garda custody.

Investigations are ongoing.
