28/07/2026 Gardaí are investigating all of the circumstances around the disappearance of a male (aged in his 60’s) who was reported missing from the Dublin 8 Area, on Sunday 26th July 2026.

Issue Date: 28/07/2026

As a result of ongoing enquiries, a male (aged in his 20’s) has been arrested in connection with the investigation today, Tuesday 28th July 2026.

He is currently detained pursuant to Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at a Garda station in the Dublin City area.

Investigations ongoing.

An Garda Síochána has no further comment at this time.
