28/07/2026 Court Appearance and Seizure: Revenue Seize €1.95m Cannabis and Cocaine, Dublin Port - 26th July 2026

On Sunday 26th July 2026, Revenue officers seized approximately 80.5kg of cannabis and 5kg of cocaine, with an estimated combined value of €1.95 million, along with €143,900 in cash, at Dublin Port.

A male and a female (both aged in their 30's) were subsequently arrested and are currently detained pursuant to Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 at a Garda Station in Dublin.

Both have since been charged in relation to this investigation.

They are due to appear before Dublin District Court at approximately 04:30pm today, Tuesday 28th July 2026.
