Gardaí in Skerries responded to reports of a public order incident at Harbour Road, Skerries, Co. Dublin, on Saturday night 18th July, 2026.
At approximately 9.45pm a large number of youths gathered and an altercation broke out.
During the course of the incident a car struck a number of people.
Three individuals (two females and one male, all in their late teens) were conveyed to Beaumont Hospital for treatment of injuries believed to be non-life threatening at this time.
An additional male was subsequently reported to have received non-life-threatening injuries.
A male (aged in his 20’s) was arrested today, Sunday 19th July 2026, in connection with the investigation.
He is currently detained pursuant to Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984, at a Garda Station in the North Co. Dublin area.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.
Road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the area at the time are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
