Yesterday, Tuesday 7th July 2026, as part of an intelligence led operation involving the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB) and Revenue Customs Service, 56.5kgs of herbal cannabis with an estimated value of € 1.13 million were seized by Revenue Customs Officers in Dublin.
A further 4kgs of cannabis with an estimated value of €80,000, a cash counting machine and €2,900 cash were seized by An Garda Síochána in follow-up searches.
Three men, aged in their 50s, 40s and 30s, were arrested and are being detained in Garda Stations in North and West Dublin under the provisions of Section 2 of Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
In total, €1,210,000 controlled drugs were seized as part of the operation.
Investigations are ongoing.
