07/07/2026 Court Appearance: Gardaí Assaulted, Co. Kildare. 7th July, 2026.

Gardaí in Kildare were on high visibility patrol in Newbridge, Co. Kildare on Monday evening 6th July, 2026 when they arrested a man.

During the course of the interaction, the man in his 30s became violent and assaulted three members of An Garda Síochána.

The Gardaí received medical treatment at hospital. The man was arrested and detained at a Garda station in Co. Kildare.

He has since been charged in relation to the assault and is due to appear before Naas District Court this morning Tuesday 7th July, 2026.
