Gardaí are appealing for witnesses in relation to a serious assault that occurred on Hawkins Street, Dublin 2 at approximately 12.20am on Sunday, 5th July 2026.
A man, aged in his 20s, was brought to Beaumont Hospital to be treated for serious injuries and he remains in a critical condition.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident to come forward.
Anyone who was in the vicinity of Hawkins Street between 12am and 12.30am this morning Sunday 5th July, 2026 and who may have camera footage - including dash-cam footage - is asked to make this available to investigating Gardaí.
