Update: Extradition and Court Appearance, Fatal Assault in Finglas, Dublin 26th November 2024

Gardaí from the Detective Unit in Finglas arrested a male (20s) today, Thursday, 29th January 2026, following the completion and execution of a Trade and Cooperation Agreement (TaCA) Warrant by PSNI authorities in conjunction with the Garda Extradition Unit.

The man is currently detained at a Garda Station in the Dublin Metropolitan Region and is scheduled to appear before a special sitting of the Criminal Courts of Justice this afternoon at approximately 4:30pm.
