Court Appearance – Unauthorised Taking of Vehicles in Co. Sligo, 4th January 2026

Gardaí are investigating the alleged unauthorised taking of a number of vehicles from outside domestic residences in Ballymote and Riverstown, Co. Sligo on Sunday 4th January 2026.

Four men, all aged in their 20s, who were arrested as part of this investigation have since been charged.

They are due to appear before Sligo District Court on Tuesday, 6th January at 10.30am.

Investigations are ongoing.
