Court Appearance - Over €299,000 Cannabis Seized by Revenue - Dublin Airport, 12th January 2026

Gardaí arrested a man, aged in his 20s, following a seizure by Revenue of 14.96kg of suspected herbal cannabis with an estimated value of over €299,000 at Dublin Airport yesterday, Monday 12th January 2026.

Revenue officers seized 14.96kg of suspected herbal cannabis which was discovered in luggage.

The man arrested by Gardaí has since been charged and appeared before the Criminal Courts of Justice this morning, Tuesday 13th January 2026 where he was remanded in custody.

Investigations are ongoing.
