Update (1): Arrest - Fatal Assault, Foster Terrace, Dublin 3, Saturday 31st January 2026

Gardaí continue to investigate all of the circumstances of a fatal assault that occurred on Foster Terrace, Dublin 3, on Saturday 31st January 2026.

As part of this investigation Gardaí arrested a woman, aged in her 60s, today, Friday 27th February 2026.

The woman is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at a Garda Station in Dublin.

Investigations are ongoing.
