Gardaí are continuing to appeal for witnesses following an incident of serious assault that occurred on North Wall Quay, Dublin 1 at approximately 11:30pm on Friday 30th January 2026 after an event that took place in the area.
The injured party, a male in his 20s, remains in hospital receiving treatment for serious injuries.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this incident to contact them. Anyone who was in the area between 11:15 and 11:45 pm on Friday 30th January 2026 and who may have any information about the incident is asked to contact investigating Gardaí.
Gardaí are particularly looking to speak with any taxi drivers who may have been in the North Wall Quay and surrounding Dublin 1 areas on Friday night.
Anyone with camera footage (including mobile phone and dash-cam footage) is asked to make it available.
