As part of the ongoing operation targeting the sale and supply of drugs in the Dublin Metropolitan Region (DMR), Gardaí seized in excess of €100,000 worth of controlled drugs on Wednesday 4th February, 2026.
The search of a premises in the Rialto area was conducted by DMR South Central Divisional Drugs Unit with assistance from the Divisional Crime Taskforce.
During the course of this search, approximately €25,970 of suspected cocaine; €12,000 of suspected cannabis vapes; €35,994 of suspected Diamorphine; €32,480 of suspected Zopiclone tablets, a sum of cash cash and other drug paraphernalia was recovered.
A man, aged in his 40s, has been arrested in connection with this search and is currently detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 at a Garda Station in South Dublin.
Investigations are ongoing.
