Joint Operation – Gardaí and Revenue Customs Service Seize €105,000 Cannabis, 2 Arrests, Co. Wicklow– 16th February 2026

As part of an intelligence-led operation, the Revenue Customs Service seized approximately 5.75 kgs of herbal cannabis in two separate seizures, with an estimated value of approximately €105,000 in Co. Wicklow.

These seizure were made as a result of a joint operation conducted by the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB), the Bray Drugs Unit along with Bray/Arklow/Wicklow Detective Branches and Revenues Customs Service in the Wicklow area.

One adult male (aged in his 20s) and one adult female (aged in her 30s) were arrested by Gardaí and are currently detained in Garda Stations in Co. Wicklow under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.

The seized drugs will be sent to Forensic Science Ireland for analysis.

Investigations are ongoing.
