€3.4million Benzodiazepine Tablets Seized, Dublin Metroplitan Region, Wednesday 28th January 2026.

As part of an ongoing investigation targeting the sale and supply of drugs, Gardaí carried out a number of searches of business premises in the Dublin Metropolitan Region on Wednesday 28th January 2026.

During the course of these searches, Benzodiazepine tablets with an estimated value of €3.4million were seized, subject to analysis.

The searches were conducted by members attached to Tallaght District Drugs Unit.

No arrests have been made at this time.

The drugs have been sent to Forensic Science Ireland for analysis.

Investigations are ongoing.
