Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a serious injury road traffic collision that occurred at Ballyedmond, Clonberne, Ballinasloe on Saturday 22nd August, 2026.
Gardaí and emergency services responded to a report of a single-vehicle collision at around 10:00pm.
The front passenger in the car (male juvenile in his teens) is in Beaumont Hospital Dublin for treatment of serious injuries and remains in a critical condition.
The three rear seat passengers (male juvenile teens) were brought by ambulance to Portiuncula Hospital Ballinasloe as a precaution.
A technical examination was carried out by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward.
Road users who may have camera footage, including dash-cam footage and were travelling in the area of Ballyedmond between 9:30pm and 10:30pm on Saturday 22nd August, 2026 are asked to make this available to investigating Gardaí.
