Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a serious road traffic incident on the Greencastle Road in Coolock, Dublin 17 on Tuesday afternoon, 18th August 2026.
Shortly after 4pm, Gardaí were alerted to an incident on the Greencastle Road. A male teenage juvenile who was driving an e-scooter was discovered on the roadside with serious injuries.
The male was conveyed by ambulance to Beaumont Hospital, Dublin where his condition is understood to be serious.
The scene was preserved for a technical examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators. The road has since reopened.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this incident to come forward.
Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling on the Greencastle Road, or in the vicnity, are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
