On Tuesday 4th August 2026, Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of an incident on Talbot Street, Dublin 1, following concerns for an adult male who had climbed a crane.

The male (aged in his 20s) who was arrested in connection with this investigation, has since been charged and appeared before Court.
