Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a single-vehicle road traffic collision on the R557 at Ballyhorgan West, Lixnaw, Co Kerry, on 18th of September 2025.
The collision occurred at approximately 1:45pm.
The driver (a woman aged in her 70s) was conveyed to University Hospital Kerry and has since passed away.
No other injuries were reported.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward.
Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling on the R557 in the area of Ballyhorgan West between 1:00pm and 2:00pm on Thursday 18th September 2025, are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
