Update – Lee Slattery Murder Investigation, Limerick, May 2010. Tuesday 16th September 2025

Gardaí investigating the murder of Lee Slattery (25), whose body was discovered in the Delmege House estate near Moyross, Limerick, in May, 2010 have made a further arrest today, Tuesday 16th September 2025.

A male, aged in his 30s, was arrested this afternoon as part of ongoing investigations and is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at a Garda Station in the Southern Region.

A female, aged in her 50s, detained yesterday under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act, 1939 has been released without charge. A file will be prepared for the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.

There are currently five prisoners in custody at Garda Stations in the Southern Region in relation to this investigation.
