An Garda Síochána Culture Audit 2025 – 30th September 2025

Issue Date: 30/09/2025

Tomorrow, 1st October 2025, the third An Garda Síochána Culture Audit Survey will go live to all Garda personnel asking for their feedback on the organisation, their working lives and areas for improvement.

As with previous Culture Audits, this is an anonymous survey, developed, issued and analysed by an external academic team based in Durham University Business School.

The survey link goes directly to the research team in Durham; An Garda Síochána does not have access to individual responses. The report on its findings will be compiled by the research team and published in full by An Garda Síochána in due course.

The survey is open from 1 October to 21 October 2025.

Speaking about this year’s Culture Audit, Commissioner Justin Kelly said: "The Culture Audit is an opportunity for Garda personnel to comment on the many positives in our organisation and importantly identify areas where further improvements could better support them and how they do their job.

"Lots of work has been completed and initiatives developed in response to the findings and recommendations collected from our previous Culture Audits, which were published in 2018 and 2022. Now it’s a chance for personnel to again have their say and express their opinions to ensure this remains an important mechanism to bring about positive change and improve our policing service.”

There are numerous ways for Garda personnel to contribute on internal communications platforms.
