Assistant Commissioner Paul Cleary shall be temporarily performing the functions of Acting Deputy Commissioner, in an Administrative Capacity with responsibility for Security, Strategy and Governance, with effect from Tuesday 16th September 2025, pending the position being filled on a full-time basis.
Assistant Commissioner Cliona Richardson shall assume temporary responsibility for the Dublin Metropolitan Region, in addition to her current role as Assistant Commissioner for the North Western Region, with effect from Tuesday 16th September 2025.
Assistant Commissioner Catharina Gunne shall assume responsibility, on promotion, for Roads Policing & Community Engagement, with effect from Monday 22nd September 2025.
Assistant Commissioner Paula Hilman retains responsibility for the Garda Eastern Region, with effect from Monday 22nd September 2025.
