Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a fatal single-vehicle road traffic collision at Callahow, Dromcollogher, Co. Limerick, that occurred on Sunday 12th October 2025.
The collision, involving a motorcycle, occurred on the R519 at approximately 7.00pm.
The motorcyclist, a man (aged in his 50s) was pronounced deceased at the scene. His body has been transferred to the morgue in University Hospital Limerick, where a post-mortem examination will be arranged.
The scene is preserved for technical examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
The road is currently closed with local diversions in place.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to contact them.
Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the area between 6.15pm and 7.15pm on Sunday 12th October 2025, are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
