Gardaí continue to investigate a serious assault that occurred in Kildare town in the early hours of Sunday, 26th October 2025. The man, aged in his 20’s, who was found unresponsive on McGee Terrace at approximately 3:15am, has since passed away in hospital.
The coroner has been notified, and a post-mortem examination will take place in due course, the results of which will determine the course of the investigation.
Gardaí are continuing to appeal to anyone with information in relation to this incident.
Any road users who were in the area between 2:00am and 4:00am and who may have video footage (including dash-cam) are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
