Operation Thor: Two men arrested in Dublin as part of investigations into an organised crime group, Tuesday 21st October 2025

As part of Operation THOR, Gardaí conducted an intelligence lead operation in Dublin yesterday, Monday 20th October 2025 as part of ongoing investigations targeting an organised crime group suspected to be involved in burglaries nationwide.

Two males, in their 20s and 30s respectively, were arrested as part of ongoing investigations into a number of burglaries that occurred in Co. Tipperary, Limerick and Wexford in August 2025.

The male in his 20s was arrested on foot of an outstanding court warrant and appeared before Tullamore Circuit Court this afternoon, Tuesday 21st October 2025.

The male in his 30s remains detained at a Garda Station in Co. Tipperary under the provisions of Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act, 2007

Investigations are ongoing.
