Joint Operation – Gardaí and Revenue Seize €858,500 Worth of Cigarettes in Co. Offaly, 23rd October 2025

Gardaí and Revenue have seized €858,500 worth of cigarettes following a joint operation in Co. Offaly today, Thursday 23rd October 2025.

Gardaí in Offaly carried out searches under warrant of two properties in Edenderry and Rhode and recovered 906,000 cigarettes with an estimated retail value of €858,500. 

Revenue Customs Officers have seized the cigarettes which have now been taken for further examination.

Investigations are ongoing.
