Today, Tuesday 21st October, 2025 as part of intelligence-led operations, approximately 5.7 kgs of herbal cannabis was seized by Revenue Officers with an estimated value of €114,000 in Tallaght, Dublin.
This seizure was made as a result of a joint operation conducted in the Dublin area by the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB), the Tallaght District Drugs Unit and Revenue’s Customs Service.
One male (aged in his 70’s) was arrested by An Garda Síochána and is currently detained at a Garda Station in Dublin under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
Investigations are ongoing.
