As part of an intelligence-led operation, approximately 10kgs of herbal cannabis with an estimated value of €200,000 was seized by Revenue Officers in Rathmines, Dublin 6 today Monday 20th October 2025.
This seizure was made as a result of a joint operation conducted by the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB), the P District Drugs Unit and Revenue’s Customs Service.
One male (aged in his 20’s) was arrested by An Garda Síochána and is currently detained in Terenure Garda Station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
Investigations are ongoing.
