Today, Monday 13th October 2025, the Garda National Immigration Bureau (GNIB) of An Garda Síochána carried out an operation removing individuals from the State on foot of EU Removal and Exclusion Orders for 10 years.
The operation resulted in the removal of 23 males.
All individuals were removed on a chartered flight which left Dublin earlier today Monday 13th October for Romania.
The males ranged in age from early 20s to late 40s.
All 23 males were serving prison sentences for offences in this jurisdiction including drugs, assaults, thefts, burglaries, frauds and sexual offences, including four of the males who are registered sex offenders.
An Garda Síochána continues to work closely with the Department of Justice in implementing immigration policy.
