Gardaí have arrested two men as part of an investigation into the theft of an electric scooter in the Swords area of North County Dublin, in the early hours of Thursday 30th October 2025.
Gardaí received report of the incident of theft which occurred in at approximately 3:15am on the R132 at Turvey. The suspects involved reportedly left the scene in a car.
This car was located a short time later by Gardaí in the Finglas area where it was stopped and searched. A scooter was recovered from the vehicle during this search.
Two men, aged in their 40s and 50s, were arrested and taken to Garda Stations in North Dublin where they were detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
Both men have been charged and are due to appear the before Court 4 of the Criminal Courts of Justice, Dublin this morning, Friday 31st October 2025.
