Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a serious injury road traffic collision on the R551 at Caherslee, Tralee, Co. Kerry, that occurred in the early hours of this morning, Saturday 15th November 2025.
Shortly after 1.30am, Gardaí and emergency services were alerted to the collision, which involved a cyclist and a car.
The cyclist (aged in his 50’s) was conveyed to University Hospital Kerry where he remains in a serious condition.
No other injuries were reported at the time.
The road is currently closed for technical examination, with local diversions in place.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward.
Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the Caherslee area of Tralee, Co. Kerry, in the early hours of this morning, Saturday 15th November 2025, are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
