Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a serious injury road traffic collision at the junction of Anglesea Street and Anglesea Terrace, Cork city centre today, Wednesday 5th November 2025.
At approximately 3.30pm Gardaí and emergency services were alerted to the collision which involved a van and a pedestrian.
The female pedestrian (60s) was taken to Cork University Hospital where she remains in a serious condition.
No other injuries were reported.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward.
Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling on Anglesea Street and Anglesea Terrace between 3:15pm and 3.45pm are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
