Update: Court Appearance - Investigation into False Social Media Reports in County Wicklow – June 2024

A man, aged in his 40’s, has been arrested by Gardaí this morning, Monday 3rd November 2025, in connection with an ongoing investigation into the creation and dissemination of false allegations on social media.

The male has been charged, and is scheduled to appear before Bray District Court this morning, at approximately 10.30am.

Investigations are ongoing.
