Gardaí in Drogheda, who continue to investigate all of the circumstances surrounding a fire at a residential property in Drogheda, Co. Louth on Friday, 31st October 2025, have arrested two men.
A male (aged in his 20’s) was arrested in Co. Louth on Wednesday night, 5th November 2025, for alleged offences under the Criminal Damage Act 1991. He is currently detained under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984, at a Garda Station in the Co. Louth area.
This morning, Thursday 6th November 2025, a second male (also aged in his 20’s) was arrested for alleged offences under the Criminal Damage Act 1991. He is also currently detained pursuant to Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984, at a Garda Station in the Co. Louth area.
Investigations are ongoing.
