Update (3): Arrest - Serious Assault, Kildare town - 26th October 2025

Gardaí continue to investigate all of the circumstances surrounding the death of a man, aged in his twenties, following a fatal assault in Kildare town on Sunday 26th October 2025.

This morning, Monday 3rd November 2025, Gardaí arrested a man in connection with the investigation on suspicion of murder.

The man (aged in his late teens) is being detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 at a Garda Station in the Kildare area.

Investigations are ongoing.
