Update (1): Arrest - Hijacking of car, Roscrea, Sunday 2nd November 2025

Gardaí investigating the theft of a vehicle in Midleton, Co. Cork and hijacking of a vehicle in Roscrea, Co. Tipperary that occurred on Sunday 2nd November 2025 have arrested a male in his 40s this morning, Wednesday 5th November 2025.

The male is currently being detained at a Garda Station in Co. Cork under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.

Investigations are ongoing.
