As part of an intelligence-led operation, Gardaí and Revenue officers seized approximately 9kg of suspected ketamine with an estimated value of €540,000 at a residential premises in South Co. Kildare, today Thursday 13th November 2025.
This seizure was made as a result of a joint operation conducted by the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB), Newbridge Drugs Unit and Revenue’s Custom Service.
One male, aged in his 20s, was arrested by Gardaí and is currently detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 at a Garda Station in Kildare.
Investigations are ongoing.
