Joint Operation – GNDOCB and Revenue – €1m Cannabis Seizure, Arrests, 20th November 2025

As part of an intelligence-led operation, €1,080,000 worth of herbal cannabis was seized in in Co. Meath today, Thursday 20th November 2025.

This seizure of approximately 54kg of herbal cannabis was made as a result of a joint operation conducted by the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau, Meath Divisional Drugs Unit and Revenue’s Customs Service.

Gardaí arrested two men, both aged in their 30s, who are currently detained at a Garda station in Co. Meath under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.

Investigations are ongoing.
