As part of intelligence-led operations, €259,000 cannabis and €6,000 cash was seized in South Dublin, today, Friday 7th November 2025.
The seizures were made as a result of a joint operation conducted by the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB), the DMR South Central Divisional Drugs Unit, and Revenue’s Customs Service.
Revenue Officers seized approximately 14kgs of cannabis with an estimated value of €259,000, and in a search conducted as part of the operation, approximately €6,000 in cash was seized by An Garda Síochána.
One male, aged in his 20’s, was arrested by An Garda Síochána and is currently detained in a Garda Station in Co. Dublin under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
Investigations are ongoing.
