Joint Operation – Gardaí and Revenue Customs Seize €103,000 Worth of Drugs, Dublin, 4th November 2025

Today, Tuesday 4th November 2025 as part of intelligence-led operations, a total of 4.35 kgs of herbal cannabis with an estimated value of € 87,000 and approximately 235 grams of suspected cocaine with an estimated value of € 16,450 were seized in the DMR Eastern Region.

The seizures were made as a result of a joint operation conducted in the DMR Eastern Region by the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB), the DMR East Divisional Drugs Unit, and Revenue’s Customs Service.

Revenue Officers seized approximately 4.35 kgs of herbal cannabis with an estimated value of € 87,000, and in a search conducted as part of the operation, a further quantity of approximately 235 grams of suspected cocaine was seized by An Garda Síochána bringing the total estimated value to €103,450. 

One male (aged in his 30’s) was arrested by An Garda Síochána and is currently detained in Garda Stations in the DMR Eastern Region under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.

Investigations are ongoing.
