Gardaí and emergency services responded to a single-vehicle collision involving a car on the N72 at Fossa, Co. Kerry, shortly before 3am on Sunday, 18th May 2025.
The driver, the sole occupant of the car, a male in his 20s, was treated at the scene and transported by ambulance to University Hospital Kerry and has since been removed to Cork University Hospital. His injuries are understood to be serious.
The has been examined by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to this incident to come forward. Additionally, they are asking any road users who may have camera footage from the area at the time to make it available to investigating Gardaí.
